I added this splitter to my upper pond to add a shishi odoshi fountain. Having valves on both output lines made it easy to adjust the flow, which makes a big difference with the timing of the fountain drop. Plus the splitter came with extra adapters to adapt to multiple size tubing.

This diverter gets the job done, but could be better.
Specifically, the flow rate is hard to control with the rotary knobs, I think owing to the type of valve used. There is only a very limited range where adjustment does anything, and it is very hard to get any sort of rate other than off or full on.
I am using it to operate 2 water features in the same fountain, and it is very hard to get them in the right balance. My pump is probably a bit too strong for my needs, but that was the purpose of this diverter, to allow me to fine tune the flow to each of them.
For this purpose, it is barely adequate. For full-flow, it would probably work flawlessly.
