My girlfriend recommended this product to me. She has a stream with pool with fish and found the product to be very effective and safe for fish and other critters. I have two small fountains and a water-trough lilly pond and have used this stuff successfully for all three.

We've a had a water feature in our yard for five years and during that time we've tried absolutely everything and nothing worked. last year my husband turned the entire river and pond bright blue trying to use an algae shade product. So far this year, we have no living algae, it dies and drops to the bottom where the filter removes it. We're buying more!

This product is the best I have found for use with green sting algae. It really does the trick and is easy to apply. My 1000gal biological pond would not be clear and clean without it!

I have a 2,000 gallon garden pond that has always been prone to heavy algae. I had tried another product earlier this year (EcoChem EC-504) which turned out to be a complete waste of money and did absolutely nothing. I ordered and quickly received a gallon of Algaefix, treated per the directions and within two weeks the water was crystal clear. So far I have seen no evidence of any harm to any of the fish or plants. For maintenance, I have been adding a cup every week and the pond remains algae free. Algaefix is working for me just as advertised.
