Product Description
This liquid speeds the biological removal of slow to degrade organic waste matter from aquatic pond bottoms that may become toxic to fish and plant life. As organic solids accumulate on the pond bottom they begin to break down, releasing toxic gasses to the surrounding environment. These gaseous by-products endanger fish, marine life and plants. This product removes bottom organic sludge and muck, reducing or eliminating the potential harmful gaseous compounds and helps to clarify your pond water at the same time. It contains natural cellular matter, select biological accelerators and special microbes proven effective in pond sludge reduction. Other features include: reduces and binds phosphate, disperses quickly, 100% active ingredients, will not discolor water, safe for fish, plants, pets and the environment. Note: this item will accelerate the solubilization and biological digestion of organic solids in your pond. In the process, the oxygen uptake rate will increase as a result of this increased activity. It is very important that your pond is able to support this increased oxygen demand along with your aquatic life's need for oxygen. Use an oxygen test kit to test the water. To be adequately oxygenated it should be 4.0mg/L dissolved oxygen in your pond.

Found this product from other online reviews. Works great, reduces sludge at the bottom of the pond as advertised and caused no harm to the plants and aquatic life.

We used to empty our pond to power wash yearly, our fish have gotten so big we cannot safely remove them from the pond to do this. We discovered Microbe-lift Sludge away and have been using it the past couple years. Our pond is free of all the muck that used to accomulate and we couldn't be happier.
